New laws coming in on July 1
Retailers openly displaying tobacco products could be jailed for up to two years when new laws come into force on the Island.
Businesses are being reminded increased restrictions on the sale of tobacco products begin on July 1.
The new requirements will also apply to licensed premises such as pubs and clubs.
From July, it will be illegal to sell tobacco products from vending machines and for service providers in the Isle of Man to advertise them on the internet.
Customers will still be able to buy items such as cigarettes, however they'll be hidden by curtains or sliding doors.
Those who fail to comply with the new requirements could face a substantial fine and possibly end up behind bars.
