More people seeking sexual health advice early thanks to awareness campaigns

Public Health positive about post-TT uptick

Attendances at the Manx Integrated Sexual Health Centre during May and June were up 31 percent on last year.

Public Health ran a targeted campaign throughout the TT period and says the uptick shows both an increase in awareness and that people are coming forward for advice rather than waiting until there's a problem.

This week marks Sexual Health Week; it runs until 20 September.

It's a campaign run by the UK charity Brook and the theme for 2026 is 'Let's Connect' - all about championing human connection across platonic, romantic and sexual relationships.

The organisation says it's about exploring 'how to build and sustain authentic relationships in an era of ghosting and endless scrolling'.
