UCM tutor says majority of childcare and education students are female
There's still a lack of men in childcare, according to a tutor at University College Isle of Man.
Janet Corrin, a long-standing tutor of the diploma on childcare and education, was speaking as the new academic year begins.
Around 70% of those studying the course continue their careers on the Isle of Man.
However, Ms Corrin is keen to see more gender balance:
