NICE says scope of patients on medication could be broader
The NHS in England has been told 15 million people could be prescribed daily cholesterol-lowering statin pills to cut their risk of heart attacks and stroke.
It's the latest guidance from NICE - The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.
Manx Care isn't bound by law to follow that guidance, like the health system across, but could people on the Isle of Man benefit from what's considered a relatively cheap medication?
