Aimed at those in customer-facing roles who can't work from home
More financial support will be given to people in customer-facing jobs who can't work from home.
It's aimed retail, lifestyle, catering and leisure businesses who've been affected by self-isolation requirements or seen a drop in demand.
Eligible residents with commercial premises can apply for a grant equivalent to a year's rates bills under the Business Premises Support Scheme.
Meanwhile, businesses and the self-employed who don't have commercial locations can apply for a lump payment of £1,000 under the Coronavirus Business Support Scheme.
Anyone applying will have to prove a loss in turnover of 25% or more compared with July 2019.
