DHSC boss defends stance on law change
The Health and Social Care Minister has defended her rejection of a Keys motion on abortion law reform.
Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson was this week granted the court's permission to introduce a private members' bill on terminations - with support from 21 members.
One of the three to oppose the proposal was Kate Beecroft.
She says the decision was made on clinical grounds, and that her Department will need more evidence to make an informed choice.
