Safeguarding chair says work is underway to improve data
Identifying the signs of children being exploited on social media and through smartphone apps is 'a huge challenge'.
That's the view of the independent chair of the Island's safeguarding board, who's been discussing the issues facing parents and schools keeping children safe.
Lesley Walker says work is underway to improve data on exploitation to enable the board to track emerging threats.
She says it's a difficult area to monitor:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
