Former local MHK speaks out on police station
A former chief minister believes the Island's built heritage should remain under public ownership.
Tony Brown was commenting on the sale of the old Castletown police station, which was put on the market by government last week.
Manx National Heritage did attempt to acquire the building, but were not prepared to front the substantial sum requested by Treasury.
Mr Brown says that would have been the ideal solution:
