Calls for government to do more to combat current pressure
The Isle of Man has no proper strategy in place to ensure food security.
That’s the view of the Manx National Farmers Union which is warning of issues ahead.
It’s calling on government to do more to combat a range of events which have forced prices up.
President Ean Parsons, backed up by Vice President Murray Cringle, says strategies need to change to cope with the current pressures on supply:
