Cretney reacts to Tynwald rejection
Older Island residents need just as much support as younger people, an MLC has warned.
David Cretney this week failed in another bid to have Tynwald appoint a 'champion' to speak for isolated elderly people.
Ministers insist their needs are being looked after, along with the rest of the population.
Tynwald last year agreed to adopt a Children's Champion to represent the interests of those below voting age.
