Statements sought from political members
MLCs will be asked to give progress updates on the work going on within government departments.
A number of statements have been requested at the next sitting of the Legislative Council which takes place on 30 June.
Tanya August-Phillips will ask seven of her political colleagues to give details about their legislative programmes.
She’ll also make her own for the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture which she has political responsibility for.
Mrs August-Phillips told Manx Radio the answers are designed to identify what each department is progressing as a priority.
She believes the information will be particularly useful to the politicians that form the next administration after the General Election on 24 September.
