Current measures add 'extra level of pain'
An MLC wants to know when a Sexual Assault Referral Centre will be developed on the Island.
Plans for an on-island facility were drafted almost three years ago, and were approved in last year's annual budget.
Currently, victims of sexual assault have to travel to the UK to access a centre.
Tanya August-Hanson MLC has put a question forward for today's virtual Tynwald sitting, asking the health minister for an update:
