Revised plans "better for partially-sighted"
Douglas Regeneration Committee’s chairman says he’s pleased with amended plans for a £20 million revamp of Douglas Promenade.
David Cretney MLC says he’d sympathised with concerns from blind and partially-sighted people about the original plans.
But he says a new scheme unveiled by the Department of Infrastructure giving pedestrians more space alongside trams on the walkway are a huge improvement.
