Help for government in future
An independent report into Personal Capability Assessments can help government in future.
That's the belief of one of the leading figures behind the controversial tests - Bill Henderson MLC.
The Lancaster report found the fit-for-work assessments to be oversimplified and unsuitable for more complex cases.
Speaking after giving evidence to a Social Affairs Policy Review Committee yesterday, though, Mr Henderson said he was pleased with the findings:
