More rounds of voting will be needed to decide who’s to fill vacant seats on the Legislative Council.
This morning, the House of Keys sat to fill four vacancies, and by a fifth round of voting had selected South Douglas MHK David Cretney and North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson.
However, the sitting adjourned a few minutes ago after none of the remaining candidates (David Anderson, Phil Braidwood, Tim Crookall, Christopher Kinley and Paul Beckett) could get the 13 votes needed.
After nine rounds of voting earlier, MHKs will now have to gather again to hold more rounds of polling.
