David Cretney says conditions at some aren't good enough
An MLC has defended his damning review of one of the Island's care homes.
David Cretney visited several recently to assess the conditions there, finding that some of them "are really not as good as they should be."
One in particular stood out, he said - but appearing on the Mannin Line, the Manx Labour Party leader refused to be drawn on which one:
Mr Cretney thinks the people who supervise and grade care homes here should be independent, not under the Department of Health and Social Care.
