Bespoke service for sexual assault victims will be Island first
August is a welcome target to have a Sexual Assault Referral Centre up and running on the Island, but there's a lot to do from now until then.
That's from MLC Tanya August-Hanson who's been calling for the creation of such a facility to be accelerated for some time.
The service will be the Island's first bespoke centre to treat and support adults and children who've experienced a sexual assault or rape.
