Marlene Maska urges Manx residents not to look backwards
A member of Tynwald has called on the Isle of Man not to look backwards when considering the Ramsey marina proposals.
Marlene Maska MLC, who grew up overlooking the area where the 400-berth yacht marina would be built, was among those who spoke at a meeting examining the plans last week.
Some have raised concerns about the impact the development would have on the landscape, with the facility to be built on reclaimed land on the beach north of Queen's Pier.
Speaking on Mandate this morning, Mrs Maska believes the project would benefit the whole Island:
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
