More calls to protect architecture
An MLC says action needs to be taken over reform to the planning system.
It's after Charles Guard's 2015 Tynwald Day petition calling for the greater protection of historic buildings failed to carry - two years after it was lodged.
David Cretney attempted unsuccessfully to form a committee on the matter when Tynwald sat last Tuesday (18 July).
The minister in charge, Geoffrey Boot, told colleagues DEFA was already looking into reforming the planning system.
