Search teams from the Civil Defence were also deployed on Monday
A missing person in the south of the Island was found 'safe and well' this week following a search by the Search and Rescue Dog Association.
Search teams from the Civil Defence were also deployed on Monday (31 March) evening, but the 22-year-old was found whilst they were en route.
SARDA confirmed its air scenting and trailing dog teams, along with their navigators, worked alongside the police to cover the area 'quickly and effectively'.
The successful outcome marked a first for handler Olivia Crowe and search dog Mop, who worked alongside navigators Gary Wright and James Leonard.
