Backbenchers criticise CoMin’s votes against extensions
Ministers aren't trying to block scrutiny by voting against extending question time in the House of Keys.
That's according to the health minister, who says dealing with legislation is the main function of the chamber.
His comments come after several backbencher MHKs complained CoMin had been using its block vote to stop sessions continuing.
David Ashford discussed the issue with Ewan Gawne:
Ramsey Swing Bridge 'a key line' for businesses
Protecting farmers from impact of climate change 'a no brainer'
Dogs to be allowed on Douglas Beach year-round as part of council trial
Manx language choir to perform at Royal Irish Academy
