Under latest Budget DESC would get extra £2.7m
The education minister has welcomed proposed further assistance for additional educational needs support on Island.
Julie Edge says it's essential to allow young people to get the provisions they need to thrive.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture would receive an additional £2.7 million for its allocation for the 2022-23 financial year specifically for additional education needs.
Ms Edge adds the issue of the condition of school buildings across the Isle of Man going forward is being looked into:
