Boot gives statement on matter in Keys
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot says the Isle of Man will not lower food standards that currently apply following Brexit.
In answer to a question from Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper in the House of Keys, Mr Boot stated we will be subject to scrutiny from the EU and UK to ensure we comply with any new EU/UK trade agreement.
Minister Boot says maintaining and improving high standards will put us in a good position to continue to export our goods to the UK and elsewhere:-
