Final visitor figures expected soon
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says it’ll be a few weeks before the government can give definitive figures for this year’s TT visitor numbers.
But he says anecdotally the Island seemed busier than ever, with more people attending the racing than at any year since 2007’s centenary.
Mr Skelly says a passenger survey carried out at the Sea Terminal will provide better data once it’s been analysed.
And he says it’s not just bike fans who are increasingly coming here, with huge media interest from around the world:
Ramsey Swing Bridge 'a key line' for businessesÂ
Protecting farmers from impact of climate change 'a no brainer'
Dogs to be allowed on Douglas Beach year-round as part of council trial
Manx language choir to perform at Royal Irish Academy
