
A meeting with the Island's housing authorities later this week will give the social care minister a chance to underline his belief there should be fewer of them.
Chris Robertshaw will discuss the housing needs study with the 17 bodies and, at the same time, stress his desire for a slimming down exercise.
Mr Robertshaw and his officers have already visted the authorities individually to sound them out.
