
Health Minister David Anderson has praised the professionalism and dedication of medical staff who helped those hurt in Saturday’s serious crash in Castletown.
Ten year old Alexis French died in the head-on crash involving a bus and a car which left another eight people injured, two critically.
Mr Anderson says the hospital’s major incident planning swung into action as the serious nature of the crash became clear, and many off-duty staff were called in.
