Allinson says people must not 'demonise' Russians living on Island
Enterprise Minister, Dr Alex Allinson says that no Russian teams had applied to take part in this year's TT.
His comments come after the World Motor Sport Council and other sporting regulators announced a halt on Russian participation in international motorsport.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine, which sparked the measure, entered its tenth day today (5 March).
The minister said no Russian teams had competed in the TT since 1960.
He adds care is needed not to 'demonise' people from Russia who live on the Island, who are 'part of our community':
