The Big Debate is not about electioneering.
That assurance comes from Policy and Reform Minister Chris Robertshaw following the launch of a series of meetings about the future of the Isle of Man Government.
Residents, randomly selected from public voters lists, will be invited to the meetings around the Island.
Attendees will take part in wide ranging discussions about how government can be made smaller and smarter, creating an environment that responds to people's needs and modernising the welfare state.
Mr Robertshaw says it's about looking far into the future, and certainly not just the next election.
