The enterprise minister insists the Island's minimum wage is completely separate from the minimum salary for migrant workers.

Tim Johnston has been quizzed on the topic in the House of Keys.

It's due to increase from £20,800 to £25,447.50 in October while plans to increase the minimum wage have been put on hold.

But Mr Johnston says the two are in no way linked:
