Swimmer accompanied by seals on day one of challenge
A man who's attempting to swim around the Island over the next twenty days is continuing his attempt this afternoon.
Mike Davis began yesterday from just south of the Point of Ayre and swam down the east coast to Dog Mills, where he will pick up again today around 3.30pm.
During yesterday's swim Mike says he was kept company for a few hours by around ten seals, one of which hugged on to his legs and flippers.
Mike is raising money for the Manx Wildlife Trust and the Blue Marine Foundation.
