Charity event to raise funds for activities and resources
Michael School is celebrating its 125th anniversary with a charity black tie ball, one of the 'largest events it's ever organised'.
Volunteers of the Friends of Michael School have arranged the dance, which takes place on Friday (Sep 19).
All funds raised will go towards paying for extra-curricular activities and resources.
In November of 1894, 117 children attended its first year, and 125 years later the opening is being marked by current pupils.
They'll be dressing up in the style of their Victorian predecessors.
