Remains at 136p in the pound
Michael District Commissioners have held their rate for 2017/2018 at 136p in the pound.
The decision was unanimously approved by the Board.
The rate doesn't include the refuse rate, as this is set independently.
Commissioners have called it "an outstanding achievement" against the background of mounting financial pressures on local authorities and continuing transfer of functions from central government.
