Public sector rents, healthcare consultation, and Tramway Terrace also set for discussion
The wording of a new Memorandum of Understanding between the Isle of Man and Liverpool City will come under scrutiny in the House of Keys this morning (29 April).
It follows a request from Onchan MHK Julie Edge to publish the full document, which was signed earlier this month at the new ferry terminal by Chief Minister Alf Cannan, Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram, and the Leader of Liverpool City Council, Liam Robinson.
Also up for discussion are public reaction to Castletown’s Living Streets scheme, public sector housing rents, and the current condition of the historic Tramway Terrace building.
In total, twelve questions will be put to ministers, covering topics such as how health bodies and the public will be involved in the health care review, plans to restrict water leaving the plantation around the proposed windfarm, and working options offered to postal workers during the storm closure in late January.
