They came principally from Castletown MHK Richard Ronan and Middle MHK Howard Quayle.
Speaking in response to Mr Teare's speech Mr Quayle described it as a 'groundhog day' budget.
He pledged to support it, but said the major financial challenge facing the nation had still not been addressed:
