MHKs should reflect 'generational change' when electing next chief minister

New MHKs discuss who should lead the next administration

The Isle of Man has voted for generational change in last week's General Election, something which should be reflected when MHKs choose the next chief minister.

That's from the three members who received the most voted from the public in last week's ballot.

Rushen's Michael Crowe, Kirrie Jenkins for Arbory, Castletown and Malew and Juan McGuinness of Ramsey are all newcomers to the House of Keys.

Last week, the public voted in 15 first-time MHKs, while seven members from the previous administration who were seeking re-election lost their seats.

Next month, members will gather to select a new chief minister.
