The make-up of the Manx parliament’s upper house should be completed today (Monday).
Five vacancies are available as 15 candidates contest the Legislative Council election.
MHKs can vote for as many or as few as they wish.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas says it should be a fascinating process.
The election will be covered live on Manx Radio's AM 1368 frequency, online and via the usual apps.
