
Onchan MHK David Quirk says he still has reservations about a scheme to demolish and clear a former abattoir on Department of Infrastructure land in Tromode.
This week, Tynwald approve spending £178,000 on the project.
Mr Quirk says he suspects the land will eventually be used to house a depot – although that’s been denied by the department.
He says he still has issues with the project even though it’s now been given the go-ahead.
