North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson says he’s delighted with the news Sarah’s Law may soon be introduced on the Isle of Man.
The law would allow parents to know about sex offenders living nearby and was enacted in the UK after the murder of Sarah Payne.
In the House of Keys this week Mr Henderson quizzed Home Affairs minister Juan Watterson about a Manx version of the law – and was told it’s on its way.
He says the end is in sight after a long campaign:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
