Kate Beecroft says Manx facilities should be same quality as elsewhere
Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft believes Noble's Hospital to should be held to the same standards as facilities in England.
The former Health Minister has tabled a series of questions for this month's sitting of Tynwald about the way standards are measured on the Island.
She confirmed not all areas were judged in the same way as NHS England hospitals during her time in charge of the Department of Health and Social Care, and wants to know what progress has been made in this area.
Mrs Beecroft says the Island can't always match what hospitals do elsewhere, but that shouldn't mean the quality is any less.
