Burden of proof is on DHSC - Baker
An MHK is far from impressed by answers he received in the House of Keys this week.
Ayre and Michael member Tim Baker was seeking assurances for Island patients travelling to UK hospitals - after health chiefs appointed a new taxi provider for transfers in the north west of England.
Bridgewater has run the service for more than a decade, but that contract will end later this month following a competitive tender process.
Mr Baker says the Department of Health and Social Care has to prove the new provider’s standards are at least as high.
