MHK to seek re-election in Arbory, Castletown and Malew

Tim Glover says he'd be seeking a ministerial position under the right leadership

A sitting MHK has announced his intention to seek re-election in the constituency of Arbory, Castletown and Malew.

Tim Glover has confirmed he'll be standing in this year's House of Keys General Election.

Mr Glover says: "The pace of change has been frustratingly slow so there is much more work to be done.

"There are so many things to address such as the cost of living, the economy, housing, health and infrastructure. Having the right people here for the jobs available is another priority."

He adds that under the right leadership he would seek a role in the Council of Ministers if re-elected.

The other candidates who've declared so far for the constituency are Mark Firth, Kirrie Jenkins and Jeroen Wats.

The election is on 24 September.
