Douglas East MHK to ask for leave to introduce private members' bill
The House of Keys returns today (28 October) for its first sitting following the summer recess - and period poverty is again on the agenda.
Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher will be hoping to be given leave to introduce a bill to secure the provision of free period products on the Isle of Man.
It's a topic she has brought to the chamber before - she last raised the issue in May 2024, with 20 MHKs agreeing to the motion and four voting against - MHKs Julie Edge, Tim Johnston, Kate Lord-Brennan and Chris Thomas.
