Traffic being diverted through Governor's Dip
An MHK says a junction is "very dangerous" following recent changes to traffic flow in the area.
Motorists heading north are currently being diverted through Governor's Dip, avoiding the roundabout at the top of Victoria Road.
Onchan member Julie Edge asked what the weight limit for the dip is, and when it was last inspected by civil engineers.
She isn't happy with the setup:
In response to Ms Edge's query, the Department of Infrastructure says a structural inspection of the dip was undertaken in June, but the inspection report has not yet been finalised.
It also confirmed no reason for the closure of the dip in 1994 was recorded, and there are no details of any weight limit.
