Ramsey member fears backlog is slowing brownfield development
The minister responsible for planning has come under fire for the amount of time it takes to assess buildings for protected status.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper raised concerns that the backlog could be putting some off developing brownfield sites.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot told the House of Keys work on the proposed list is underway, but resources are limited.
But Mr Hooper says this isn't a new issue:
