Haywood believes they should be saved for Tynwald
An MHK has questioned whether the Isle of Man Government Conference is the right place to be making key announcements about the Island's future.
A number of plans were unveiled on the first day of the event yesterday (17 September) including a savings target of £10 million for the public sector and the creation of a new hospitality board.
It's thought the number of people who registered to attend ahead of time was around 500.
