Beecroft says many questions unanswered
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft says she may still bring more questions about the government’s regulatory agreement with Manx Gas.
Yesterday during Tynwald questions she grilled Office of Fair Trading Chairman David Quirk MHK about the deal – which caps the company’s profits while ruling out regulatory action over prices.
But Mrs Beecroft says many of the questions she posed remain unanswered – and she may bring more in future.
She says Mr Quirk’s advice to ask Manx Gas about the deal isn’t good enough:
