Garff member seeking more details at Tynwald sitting
An MHK is seeking more information about significant cuts to the speech and language therapy currently offered to Manx pupils.
The Department of Health and Social Care recently contacted schools to announce cuts to the service, including not accepting new referrals for students in Key Stage 2.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine will ask the Health Minister to make a statement on the matter in this month's sitting of Tynwald, as well as asking Education Minister Graham Cregeen about the potential impact of these changes.
She's worried it could cause long-term problems.
