Member refused to meet with CM on membership
The Chief Minister doesn't have enough interest in government reform - that's the reason one MHK didn't put his name into the hat for departmental membership.
Douglas East representative Chris Robertshaw wasn't offered a position because he declined to meet Howard Quayle to discuss it.
He insists he's firmly against ministers being aided by more than one member - saying his voice will be best used as an independent from the back benches.
Mr Robertshaw explains why improvemens to Tynwald's structure need to be implemented soon:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
