Tim Glover warns the Island is not taking tourism seriously
An MHK has criticised the Isle of Man’s approach to tourism, warning that the Island is not treating the sector with the seriousness it deserves.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Tim Glover thinks the decision to scrap the bus route to Cregneash sends the wrong message – describing the heritage site as one of the Island’s “crown jewels”.
The Department of Infrastructure previously cited 'financial unviability' as the reason for the route's removal.
Mr Glover has now tabled a question in the House of Keys, asking which bus routes are profiting instead:
