15-year-plan will be debated by Tynwald in November
A Douglas South MHK has criticised the time given to politicians to review a new 15-year economic strategy saying government hasn’t learnt lessons from the past administration.
Claire Christian says it was ‘telling’ that it had spent less than six weeks on the Register of Business before it was brought to Tynwald.
The plan is due to be debated by politicians again in November.
Mrs Christian says members needed more time to review the document – but her colleague, and Speaker of the House of Keys, Juan Watterson says he believes time is of the essence:
